This May we are delighted to welcome the very talented local artist Alice Thomson to the farm for a “Mixed Media” workshop. Join us here at Flourish on Sunday 12 May for an afternoon of colour and creativity, drawing inspiration from the stunning seasonal produce that will be growing on the farm.
On arrival you’ll be treated to a welcome tea, coffee and homemade sweet treat as well as a glass of something fizzy. Alice will introduce you to the workshop which will take place in our bright and beautiful Sundial Barn, we will then head across the farm over to our tunnels for some inspiration before returning to the barn to get the creative juices flowing. You will start your creative journey with a line drawing which you will then develop into mixed media
Armed with a wide range of materials you’ll focus on what inspires you the most and under Alice’s watchful eye you’ll create your own masterpiece to take home. No experience is necessary, Alice has years of teaching experience, and her classes promise to be relaxed and fun.
Alice is known for her mixed media artwork and loves to experiment with different techniques and materials with no strict rules. You can expect a mix of collage, ink, crayons, paints and pencils to add layers and interest to your work.
Tickets are limited to 10 for this workshop
