We are so lucky that a group of such productive and passionate individuals make up our team, brought together by a love of food, nature and a shared vision of contributing to the creation of a more sustainable food system. Ben, co-founder and workhorse
Ben's long blonde mane would give Brigitte Bardot a run for her money, however, he turned down many modelling opportunities in favour of a meaningful career on the farm.
Though very bright and inquisitive, Ben can be rather shy and unsure of new people. Once he knows you, he enjoys a cuddle when he is not too busy sunning himself in the water meadow. His favourite food is thistle flowers.
Bill, co-founder and workhorse
With a steady temperament and calm demeanour, Bill, is unfazed by anything. His strength and power are undeniable despite his rather rotund belly.
When off duty, Bill enjoys rubbing on gate posts or a branch of any size within reach; even a twig will do as an ear scratcher. He will eat almost anything, though parsnips are one of his favorites.
Calixta, Co-founder
After earning a BA in Sustainable Agriculture and Forest Management in the USA, Calixta spent 6 and a half years working on organic farms in North Carolina, Massachusetts and Hawaii. She met Bill and Ben whilst visiting her family in England and was given the amazing opportunity to partner with them to start Flourish. Calixta enjoys muddy walks with her terrier Finn, and reading foreign seed catalogues on her search for obscure vegetables and culinary treasures to grow on the farm.
Ben, Production Manager
Growing up in the Cambridgeshire countryside, an interest in and desire to care for the land has always been a part of Ben’s life. He has a love for all things outdoors and a passion for sustainability. Since studying Geography and Environmental Science, and volunteering throughout the world, Ben has joined the Flourish team to learn how to grow regeneratively.
Alice, Office Manager
After a 10 year career in advertising Alice spent 12 weeks at Ballymaloe cookery school in Ireland. From there the seeds were sown and she’s worked in food ever since

Chris, Farm Manager
Chris joined the Flourish team in the early Spring of this year. His varied past has lead him from Amazon survival teacher, to cellerman, to chef. A love of community, produce and sharing has been consistent throughout. It was this that called him to Flourish, to learn the craft growing.

Alyson, Office Manager
Ally looks after all of our ordering and invoices and works part time with Alice in between being a sports fanatic and looking after her lovely grandchildren
Guy , Deliveries
Guy and Jack are our wonderful delivery drivers who make sure our produce gets to you as quickly and safely as possible once it’s been harvested. These guys are fundamental to the way we supply directly to chefs and always deliver with a smile.
